Villa McCoy

Description

The property is located within close proximity of Ostuni, which is reachable in a few minutes driving and fifteen minutes from the beach. Moreover, it has a central position with respect to all of the Valle d’Itria villages and it is easily accessible from the airports of Brindisi and Bari.

McCoy is a great example of local rural architecture. These splendid stone buildings were formerly rural houses; they have been recently renovated and restored with quality and fine materials and equipped with every comfort without altering the original character. The combination of rural context and contemporary design creates a timeless dialogue linking artistic concepts to this place.

The three separate buildings are thought of as different environments of a unique property. The concept is to link them together through the common areas: the large kitchen and the contemporary living room, the swimming pool and its nearby areas with BBQ and wood-burning pizza oven. These are all convivial environments where family and friends have the opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday in complete privacy.
Several works of Contemporary Art of the best Italian and foreign emerging artists of the moment find place in the bedrooms and lounges, enriching the complex.

Trulli – sleeps 4
this construction consists of 4 Trulli.
Bedroom 1 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), direct access to the outdoor, small wardrobe (other closets out of the bedroom), possibility to add an extra single bed and en suite bathroom with a very big shower and two windows.
Bedroom 2 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), small wardrobe, safe, possibility to add an extra single bed, en suite bathroom with shower.
1 step down. Fully equipped kitchen with wine cellar and working fireplace and exit to the outdoor. 5 steps down to the dining room with table seating 20, spacious and bright TV room and living area with working fireplace and very big French doors opening to the swimming pool area.

Trullo Saraceno – sleeps 2/4
small kitchen with table, working fireplace (there is no door separating the bed area from the kitchen), the room is equipped with a double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm).
Exit to the outdoor area with a small covered table perfect for breakfast.
bathroom with very big shower, with window. Wall wardrobe with safe.
Bedroom 3 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), exit to the outdoor area, small wardrobe built in the wall.

Lamia – sleeps 10 
entrance to a small living room with fireplace.
Bedroom 4 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), safe and exit to the outdoor area (the BBQ area), with en suite bathroom with big shower and window. Small wardrobe.
Bedroom 5 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), exit to the outdoor, en suite bathroom with shower (1 step up) and window.
Bedroom 6 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), direct access to the outdoor area (toward the Trullo Saraceno), wardrobe hollowed in the stone, en suite bathroom with shower and window. From the bathroom, there are 14 steps leading to the panoramic roof (quite dangerous being without parapet).
Bedroom 7 2 bunk beds (bed size 90cmx200 each bed), direct access to the outdoor, en suite bathroom with big shower and window.

Holiday Cabin – sleeps 2
located in front of the swimming pool.
Bedroom 8 double bed (bed size 180cmx200cm), wardrobe, desk and chair, en suite bathroom with shower. This bedroom is suitable for staff travelling with guests.
