This 19th-century Stanzia has typical Istrian architectural legacy with chunky walls, rustic decor, a warren of softly lit walls, local tiles and even some quirky antique pieces from the past. Enjoy a lazy barbecue on the terrace, a snooze in the shade or a splash in the pool. Head out to local markets, whisk the children off to the sea, arrange wine-tasting with a local grower or visit one of Istria’s loveliest cities, Umag or Novigrad, which are just a short drive away.

The entrance to the house is like stepping into another world. But once you step inside, the old-fashioned feel is replaced with a modern charm. The owners have turned the antique house into a luxury self-catering property that can be rented out here.

On Ground Floor you can find 2 living rooms with TV, kitchen with dishwasher and dining area with open fireplace.

On the First Floor you have 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms ( one room with double bed and two rooms with separate single beds). There is also a lobby with LCD TV.

On Second Floor two more bedrooms are located. One with ensuite bathroom and second one with a separate bathroom. Both rooms have double beds. A baby cot and highchair are provided.

The swimming pool (9 m x 4.5 m) is situated in front of the summer terrace offering glorious uninterrupted views. Tables, chairs, parasols and a bbq are provided for a perfect outdoor dining experience. There is a wine cellar and private parking space for your cars.

Istria has always been famous for its wine, olive oil and white truffles. A traditional local restaurant (called a konoba) will serve just about any fresh seafood you can think of – sardines, shark, crab, mussels and scallops. But the Italian influence means that there’s also a lot of food that children love – pasta, pizza and ice cream.
