Villa Alba, a luxurious 5-bedroom private villa, is tucked away above the paddy fields in the village of Thiththagalla which is close to Kathaluwa. Being surrounded by nature and modern architecture and design makes it the ideal place to unwind, decompress, and allow the professional staff take care of you.

The main house offers a sizable open-concept living space with a breakfast bar, dining room, comfortable sofa, and a private library, all of which open out onto the pool deck and the 40-foot pool, which looks out over the garden and surrounding paddy fields.

Our five guest suites, each with a special vantage point and a sensation of seclusion, are located on each side of the pool. We’re sure you’ll enjoy spending time on your balcony, where you can watch peacocks dance, langurs swing, and egrets fly by.

Villa Alba strives to have a minimal environmental impact. We use solar energy as our primary source of energy wherever possible, and the majority of the fruits and vegetables you’ll find here are grown in the garden or in the neighborhood. Ask Tharindu to tour you around if you’d like to use our bicycles to explore the nearby community and beyond.

Thiththagalla, a welcoming local community well-known for its cinnamon, goes out of its way to make you feel at home. Despite being close to Ahangama and Kathaluwa and only 30 minutes from Galle in one direction and Mirissa in the other, it feels like a wonderfully secluded hideaway.
