Villa Costa enjoys an excellent location in the upper part of Amalfi’s historic centre. Piazza Flavio Gioia is approximately 400 metres away.

Amalfi Cathedral is around 500 metres from the villa. The ferry terminal and beach are approximately 450 metres away, while restaurants, cafés, shops, grocery stores and the SITA bus terminal are around 400 metres away.

This central position makes it easy to explore Amalfi on foot. Guests can also reach the coast and local restaurants without needing to rely on a car.

Access to Villa Costa

As with many properties in historic Amalfi, reaching the villa involves steps. From Piazza Flavio Gioia, guests can climb approximately 300 steps to reach the property.

Alternatively, a public panoramic elevator may be available for an additional local fee. Guests then need to climb approximately 60 further steps.

For the 2026 season, the closest public elevator is temporarily unavailable due to technical maintenance. An alternative public elevator can be used instead, followed by approximately 150 steps.

Complimentary porter service is included for arrival and departure. This helps make luggage transfers easier despite the property’s elevated position.
