Accommodation at Villa Fermi is all on one floor. The main entrance takes one into a delightful, luminous, open-plan space featuring a kitchen at one end, a central dining table and a large comfortable sitting area. Six large glass doors provide light, ventilation and easy access to the wrap-around terraces, while lofty, white-beamed ceilings complete the airy, voluminous feel.

A corridor leads from one side of the kitchen to the sleeping quarters, which comprise a principal double-twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, and two other double-twin bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and one with a shower room opposite.

The white walls and grey pietra pece stone-clad floors of the living area continue into the bedrooms and bathrooms, creating a pleasing homogeneity of style. Each bedroom has its own access to the surrounding terraces.

Villa Fermi is surrounded by a wrap-around terrace, which offers a variety of spots furnished for sitting, reading, dining and chatting. The largest expanse, accessed from the living area, is to the front of the house. It is from here that you may admire arguably the best views, which take in the Arcadian hills of the Val di Noto and the sparkling Ionian Sea in the distance.

On three sides the terrace is delimited by low dry stone walls which signal the beginning of the property’s naturally landscaped grounds. On the fourth side a much higher dry-stone wall screens a flight of steps leading up to Vila Fermi’s fabulously panoramic hill-top pool. Once here, you may never want to leave!
