This exquisite Villa Remmal has a unique history that began with the Gheradini Family in Tuscany. The family was one of the founding families of the republic of Florence and continues to thrive today. The property still maintains some of its original walls and cellars. It is composed of a total of three units with a maximum possibility of 20 guests. The main building has a total of six bedrooms and hosts up to 12 people. This unit is spacious with an open floor plan and a dining area. The large living room features a fireplace for warming up on chilly evenings. The two outdoor verandas offer the perfect space to indulge in some pleasant summer reading or enjoy an al fresco barbecue. The second unit is a charming double story annex. It has two bedrooms and can host up to four guests. There is a grand piano and a fireplace in the elegant lounge on the ground floor, where you will also find a full bathroom. The ensuite bedrooms are on the floor above. The third unit can accommodate four extra guests. The villa has Wi Fi internet throughout and air conditioning in all bedrooms and gym.

Exteriors

A clearing in the woods is the organic setting of the Villa Remmal. The villa blends in harmoniously with the landscape surrounding it. The main building sits among mulberry and olive trees. Some small cherry and fig trees surround the second building. Furthermore, a couple of steps from these stone houses you’ll find the swimming pool, a small gym and the hammam.

Location

You will find this property just five kilometers from Vignamaggio, a wine farm with a 600 year history. This farm provides an unforgettable cultural experience for visitors to the villa. Half way between Florence (33km away) and Siena (35km away), the estate extends for over 200 hectares in the hills of the Chianti Classico region. Vignamaggio overlooks a countryside landscape of forests, vineyards and ancient hamlets scattered around the surrounding hills.
