Description

The bedrooms at King House are pure Mustique inspired comfort and elegance. The main house contains the master bedroom on the upper floor, with It’s own plunge pool. The lower level contains a guest bedroom with direct access to the swimming pool, and a third bedroom in a separate building off from the kitchen. These 3 bedrooms have private bathroom with sublime waterfront views, a pebble finished bathtub, raised bowl double vanity, lots of storage space for products and natural stone floors. There are a further two bedrooms in a separate wing by the entrance, with a shared central bathroom and direct access to the gazebo & bbq area.

A beautiful horseshoe shaped bay where sailing boats, colourful local ferries and elegant cruise ships share It’s protected location. In 2011 the Telegraph described Admiralty Bay as “one of the Caribbean’s most protected natural harbours, surrounded by steep verdant hills, and always full of yachts”. A natural deep water harbour protected by Hamilton Fort to the north, Princess Margaret Beach and Bell Point to the South Admiralty Bay presents locals and guests alike with a daily spectacle.

Lower Bay & Princess Margaret beaches are just a few minutes walk from this elevated property and offer ideal and often deserted safe, sandy beaches perfect for swimming. The beaches may get busier at the weekend when the small boutique style bars and restaurants serve fresh locally caught fish and island style cuisine. If solitude is important and even a quiet beach is too much this house has an infinity pool finished in local pebble and curvaceous terraces to escape to.

A relaxed central living space facing the bay is flanked by a gourmet standard kitchen with breakfast bar, integral stainless steel ovens and a separate gas hob. This effortless layout in the kitchen also features a large US style fridge freezer, plenty of storage space and double stainless steel sink. A generous walk-in pantry and laundry room complete the main family living & dining space.

For peace and relaxation the natural pebble edged infinity pool peeps over the edge of the cliff top into which a cascade of water from a higher plunge pool falls. For more sociable occasions the dining gazebo seats up to 16 and a professional exterior kitchen area complete with gas barbecue and sweeping counter top provide ample space and equipment to cater for a large group of friends or family.

Below the infinity pool, terraces and barbecue is a quieter, communal meeting spot, perfect for an outdoor fire and ideal as a location for watching the sun disappear altogether.

A breakfast service is included, as well as maid service 6 days a week. The maid will be happy to do any personal laundry if required – at an additional cost (approx $10US per load). There is also a gardener who will look after the gardens & pool 3 mornings a week.
