There are eight luxurious bedrooms, including six super-king beds and two singles. All of the super kings are zip and link, and can be split if required. The super king bedroom on the ground floor with wheel-in en-suite wet room, and direct, floor-level access from the garden. All the bedrooms are beautifully designed, with stylish finishes and sumptuous bed linen and towels.

At the heart of this luxurious home, is a spacious, open-plan kitchen which is ideally equipped for entertaining. A huge island stands in the centre of the room and provides the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or early evening drink. There’s also a cosy kitchen-snug, where you can curl up with a magazine or unwind in front of the TV.

Across the hall, an elegant dining room which comfortably seats 14, and offers the perfect setting for a family lunch or glamorous dinner party. Modern art and pretty mirrors adorn the walls and add visual interest alongside the giant abacus and artists’ easel.

The sitting room, or ‘blue room’, is a wonderful place to relax after an action-packed day at the beach. Listen to the gentle crackle of the wood burner as you burrow away with a book, or enjoy one of the many board games on offer. There’s also a piano to keep the musical ones entertained.

But if your idea of relaxation is watching a good movie, then grab some popcorn and hunker down in the cinema room for the night. This room also doubles up as a brilliant den and will keep children happy for hours.

Oak Lodge is tucked away behind a gated entrance and set in just over an acre of land. At the front of the property, there’s ample parking for 10 cars, and to the rear, a large south-facing garden where you’ll find no shortage of places to relax and unwind. There’s also a secure, child-friendly area with a trampoline, outdoor table tennis table, two BBQs, and for the ultimate relaxation – a hot tub and outdoor sound system.
