Description

Villa Banting dates back to 1700 and is one of the most elegant examples of Italian baroque: the ceilings on the “piano nobile” or main floor are sumptuously decorated and the stuccoes, typical of the period, are of the highest quality. During the first half of the 20th century the villa hosted some very famous European intellectuals and artists who were attracted by the charm of Positano and the mild climate that characterizes the bay.
The recent renovation work has restored the villa to its ancient splendor, transforming it into a prestigious holiday residence of the highest quality. The atmosphere and charm of this villa make it truly unique. It has all mod cons: Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning, spa with Turkish bath, sauna and a beautiful indoor swimming pool (8 x 3m). The spa is connected to the outdoor terrace which also has an ornamental-style whirlpool bathtub.
