This is a state-of-the-art villa with minimalist but stylish interior design and vast expanses of glass which bring the light flooding in. Your first impression will be one of size and space, as no photograph can do justice to its huge 1,400 m2 footprint. The furniture and decor perfectly befit Villa Haden’s grand scale and have been meticulously selected to give a laid-back designer twist to the lofty Scandinavian-style interiors. All four bedrooms and brand new ensuite marble bathrooms are exceptionally spacious and offer lovely views out over the surrounding area.
Villa Haden spreads out over three levels, served by an elevator. Access is through a security gate down a long driveway to the carport and covered garage with parking for several vehicles. The wow factor hits you before you even enter the villa, with its floor-to-ceiling glass wall looking straight out onto the pool and contemporary stone walkway leading the eye to the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon.
Entry through the main door of the house takes you to the reception area, from where the outdoor pool can be reached. To the right there are two guest suites, both with queen size beds and ensuites with baths and walk-in showers. These two bedrooms have doors leading to the garden and pool. To the left of the entrance hall is the lofty open-plan living room, with vast two-storey windows edged in dark metal reaching up to the double-height vaulted ceilings – an almost seamless blending of the straight indoor lines with the soft undulating panorama outside. Here you’ll find three plush sofas and a huge flatscreen TV, a dining table with seating for ten guests, and a gleaming white grand piano fit for any Liberace wannabes! Next door, there is a second smaller living room with a flatscreen smart TV. The living areas open directly onto the main outdoor terrace with four sofas and two coffee tables. The fully equipped kitchen has a sleek white central island and large sliding glass doors to a covered outdoor terrace with a 10-seater dining table, BBQ and heat lamps for al fresco dining even during the chillier evenings.
